Network overview and sites

A global network for better RHD care

ACT Global is a worldwide network working to improve care for people living with rheumatic heart disease. Clinicians, researchers, health systems, and partners all have a role to play, and this network is how they connect around it.

Collaboration at the heart of ACT Global

RHD care requires coordination among a wide range of groups: clinics and hospitals, referral centers, public health teams, researchers, and funders. ACT Global helps bring them into a shared structure.

Local sites use ACT to support patient management and help build a stronger understanding of RHD care needs, treatment patterns, and outcomes.

Who ACT Global works with

Research institutions

Universities and academic medical centers bring clinical expertise to the network. Some contribute through data analysis, others through implementation learning or research leadership.

Health systems

Hospitals, clinics, and clinical networks implement ACT and use data to strengthen RHD care in their settings.

Global health organizations

Global health organizations support advocacy and policy alignment. They also play a part in capacity building and in building broader recognition of RHD as a preventable public health priority.

Funders and supporters

Funders and supporters help sustain the network's work. Their support goes toward platform development, site onboarding, and training, as well as research activity across the network.
